What Your Score Means
0-15 = You’re Coping Pretty Well!
Caregiving does have its rewards. It can feel good to be able to care for a loved one. Spending time together can give new meaning to your relationship and your life. Remember, though, that you need to take care of yourself too! Be watchful of signs of stress sneaking up on you. While this is not a scientific test, it can help you see how well you are managing caregiver stress. We all cope differently. You may have a score of “8” and feel very stressed, while many others may not. The gift of caring you are giving to your loved one is priceless. The important thing to remember is that there are many resources available to help you!
